Custom Cars

This magnificent hot rod displayed at Ford Carlisle is owned by club member Paul Scheerer of Long Island, New York. He took a 1948 Lincoln Continental, the first Mark, and installed most of the components of a wrecked 1995 Mark VIII. He used the engine, transmission, and drivetrain and suspension. The seats were cut down and installed in the interior. All the power accessories such as the seats and window drives were used. Even the computer message center and remote gas tank filler door were used from the Mark VIII!

A very neat and impressive job.
