I recently got a 2000 ls with the v8 and was wondering if there were any good ways to upgrade any part of my exhaust system to get that v8 sound outa the car.

One of the techs in my shop who owns an '02 LS8 put this on his car:

It added a really deep tone at idle and a tough sounding rasp during snap WOTs without making a luxury car sound like a Hotrod.

Right from his first drive with the new exhaust,, he noticed quite an increase in mid range response.

Would be nice if this was offered for the 03-06 years, although I read that the exhaust was one of the improvements when thay bumped up to 280hp.

I Just Bought My 00' Ls With A V8 And The Previous Owner Put A Borla Exhuast Kit On It And It Sounds Really Nice, Not To Loud But Just Enough When You Crank It And Step On The Gas
