I just got an Under-drive balancer and am having trouble removing the crank bolt... my air gun wont do it and i dont want to strip it... anyone have any tips or tricks to loosen it up without stripping or breaking it!!

If this is the bolt in center of the front drive pulley, it was tightened to 90 lf ft, backed off and retightened (X2) then tightened to another 90 degrees, so it's on pretty tight. According to manual, it's a standard right hand thread. Get LONG extention for a breaker bar.

I used an industrial size strap wrench to hold the pulley and a 1/2" drive socket on the bolthead with a long breaker bar.

I don't use impact wrenches on engines.
