99 Continental Security System

Hey,

I have a 99 Continental and in my neighborhood we have been having a lot of broken windows lately. I know the security system will go off if the doors, trunk, or hood are opened. What I would like to know is if the system would go off if a window would be busted out? And also if the car would be hit (Someone backs into it lets say)?

The system will only work if the door(s), trunk, or hood are opened, or the ignition tumbler is tampered with.

There's no type of motion or impact sensing.

Pretty much like our Marks.
