stereo expert needed

My 96 Conti has the Jbl premium system in it. I have an alpine head unit with 2 sets of rca outs plus a seperate rca for subwoofer. I have a 4 channel amp for my front and rear door speakers and I have a mono amp for my subs. What I need to know is how to do away with the factory amp and can I use all the same wiring to the speakers. I am changing all the door speakers to infinity. Help!!! I dont want to do this but 1 time. Thanks,Tony

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say you can't use the factory speaker wiring. It's the same as the Mark VIII JBL system wiring where the front and rear speakers are wired in parallel.

But, could you bridge the amp and use two channels on the parallel speaker runs?

Or you can run new wires and save yourself some headaches... it is simple enough.
