I spent last weekend attending the 2007 SuperCoupe Shootout in Xenia, OH.

I was humbled in the first round of eliminations by a MN12 Cougar with a 4.6L DOHC transplant. Margin of victory... 0.036 seconds.

And running well I might add. 12.9 second ETs with 5 psi boost and a conservative tune. That earned him "Most Improved" award fom last year's 13.9 ETs.

Doesn't he have a 5.0 stroker though?

Yes he does. Still, IMHO, for 5 psi boost and a little over 8% more displacement, he's done quite well. I talked to him briefly at the event and he's only just begun to tune it.
