i dunno wtf to say but my passenger seat in my 97 has started to adjust itself on its own and usually sticks wherever it stops till i stop and screw with it for an hour. short in the controls maybe? usually fully reclines then wont move at all. but tonight it started just sliding foreward and back randomly.

i dunno i havent had time to mess with i have to drive it daily since the trucks in the body shop.

Since the passenger seat may not need daily adjustments, why don't you adjust it to where it looks normal and then disconnect the seat controls. This way you will safe you seat motors. I would give all the controls a good visual a problem like this should be fairly easily spotted.

thats what i did a couple weeks ago. but somehow the seat reclined again. and i duno if the lumbar motor is on a different fuse but that still has power
