my back light

hey i have a problem with my lincoln mark viii 1998 .... the big back light in the truck doesnt want to turn on... what can it be??? i already checked all the fuses and all of them are good.... plz help

Not long after telling Diego about glitch, mine went out. I ordered one, got it in no time and as today got up into the 50's, I installed it today! Nice to have my neon back.

Has ANYONE attempted to get inside the reflector to remove any mold which formed in there. I vented like glitch instructed, but that didn't get the existing crud that 'grew' in there.

Only real good way is to try and get the black plastic panel on the back of the housing off and get at the reflector that way. I tried, and its very hard and you most likely will break something, so be careful!
