Moose's turn for a blend door-ectomy

Well it was bound to happen! The blend door finally went on Moose so it's time for a replacement. I have the reinforced unit I bought from Mark a while back anticipating this day would come.

My question is... if there are any of you that have dome this more than once how long did it take you the first time and how long the second time?

I ask this because I know a guy that specializes in dash and steering column repairs that is coming to do work on my loose El Camino steering column. On the phone he says he's done the blend doors before so i need a point of reference from anyone who has done it more than once. I don't want him charging me for 6 hrs of work when it really should only be three or less.

1st time 3 hrs, 2nd time 1.5 hrs. Pro shouldn't take more than 2hrs.

That's good time, do you know a short cut or are you going by the instructions on the technical pages on the site? I've heard its usually a 5 hour job.
