Gen1 vs. Gen 2 struts

Hi, I just ordered a pair of Gen2 struts from five star ford yesterday, I imagine I just made my $20 member fee pay for itself but anyway is that a good plan to go with the Gen 2 struts? I thought I may have read that Gen 2 struts are "harder" than Gen 1 struts, like Gen1 struts are more floaty. Is this true? did I make the right decision?

I think the Gen2 struts may be a little firmer than Gen1 but not much, from what I have read, for the money the Gen2 is the best deal.

I think it's the other way around. My gen 2 rides smoother than my gen 1 did. But i don't see any difference in handling.

You made the right choice. They'll fit, and they're cheaper.

Gen 2's are nice, and i think they weight less than a gen 1, since they do not have that all metal stuff on the top of them.
