Those who did the Kale Mod, what are your switches?

RE: Those who did the Kale Mod, what are your switches?

damn, that's purdy. Awfully fancy. i confined my switches to the front part of the compartment so that i can still use it for storage. Maybe i'll get a pic up later.

SInce most people dont smoke, and/or dont use the ashtray, why not install the switches there? Its unused space anyway..........

I bought one of those power mirror joyticks a while ago and figured out the contacts, but I'm waiting till I can run some type of compressed gas until I install it.

You've probably seen mine but here's another pic:

Here is what Brinan Raimundo did:

And Jason Toews:

Jason has his own page describing what he did here:

And Brian Raimundo has something he wrote about his fast bag system that I am going to upload to the suspension section.

i like the NOS idea.. LOL
unfortunately that switch isnt any good until i can find away around teh internal wiring.. as soon as you aply power to that switch it is routed to the rear "windows" up button.. so the rears inflate by them selves.. LOL
that was going to be my On/Off switch..

there is no one who smokes in my car, but thats the designated coin holder :)

RE: Those who did the Kale Mod, what are your switches?

I installed six switches into the back wall of my glovebox. Four black rocker switches (one for each bag) and two black paddle switches (one to turn pump on and off and one to open and close the vent solenoid). I also have two more switches just above the aftermarket radio in a custom 4-pushbutton switch panel. The two for the the air suspension are to control the main power to the panel in the glovebox (that way the passenger can't mess with it) and the other is to turn the air ride computer off, so that it doesn't try to "correct" my altitude adjustments. The switch that I have to turn off the air ride does not set off the "check air ride" message. I also hooked up the main power control to my alarm remote so that when I hit the button, the car will do whatever I have it set to do at the switch panel. I don't have any pics yet, but I should be taking some soon.
