What difference should I expect with new Shock mounts? I mean what effect do they have on the ride?

Depending on how broken up they are, there could be a significant difference. If the rubber is really shot, allowing significant up and down movement of the shock in the mount, you could effectively be having NO effective shock action over the constant little road variences while driving. New mounts would really smooth up the rear in that kind of scenario.

Thanks john... this whole time I wondered what people meant when they said "smooth mark Ride".... I guess I never really knew what that was. I’m going to swing by the dealership tomorrow to get them, how easy is it to install them?

It will definitely be quieter too.
If you have any experience and mechanical ability, and I'm sure the right tools, it looks like a pretty easy fix (except for having to lay in the trunk.)
