rear shocks and mounts

okay I was set on getting the cobra set up for my mark, but I was talking to a guy at a local shop who said that by changing to them I would reduce the life of my air bags. He said that the bags are set to be run with the lincoln set up and that I would be replacing bags alot. Now he also stated that the factory shocks are back ordered and if he replaced them it would cost appox. $325 to do the shocks and mounts. I will be doing them myself never planned for him or anyone else to do the job. Just want to know if what he said is true and what type of cost I will be looking at for either factory or the cobra shocks and mounts.

That's what happens when a shop is not properly ventilated.

Call five stare ford, the shocks are 80 something a piece for the OEM ones. Why do you want to Cobra shocks?

I read that some members have the cobra's in their mark and seem to be happy with them. Also they are alittle cheaper than 80 a piece from what i have read.
