coil conversion question

Dumb question related to rear springs.........is the more compressed end of the spring the top or bottom of spring?

I'll be starting this job tomorrow, so please answer asap, or i might be putting in these springs upside down. ;-)

I have the more compressed end at the top. Although I don't think it would really matter.
