It won't go down

Well I pulled the old beast out of the garage yesterday after sitting since October to give it some fresh gas and charge the battery ,I found it won't air down so I'm ridin high . I was wondering If I can tear into the compressor/drier an unclog whatever is keeping it from purgeing if that is what is wrong . I did notice that there is no click after shutting the door so I was wondering if there is a solnoid that isn't getting energised .

I checked it again and yes I hear a click from the rear when i shut the door but I don't hear any air blowing and it's still high I'm tearing into it tonight

That was it I took the compressor out removed the solenoid and blew the dust out and lubed the valve and now works great, thanks John
