i just got a call from the guy fixing my air ride.
put on the struts and compressor. compressor isnt coming on now.
i am not happy. i have to work tonight and have no way there, because he told me my car would be done.
what could it be now? he says maybe a relay?

I can't say what it could be, but there is a suspension diagnostic connector on the left side of the engine. I'm sure that a Ford dealer could plug into it and run some tests. I'm not sure if there is an aftermarket tester for that system.

It could be the relay. Sometimes a bad compressor can burn out the relay too.

Make sure they check the fuse to the relay, under the hood, first though..:)

RE: if it isnt one thing its another

can someone please post a diagram of the fuse box and relays?
none of the fuses are marked, and i dont have an owners manual.
so i really have no clue whats what.
thanks

See the reply in the Electrical forum. ;)

If the fuses are okay, try switching the compressor relay with the ABS relay, they are the same relay. If switching works, you know you have a bad relay. The ABS relay is supposed to be in the left fender, behind the plastic inner liner of the wheel well.
