Ford Dealer Airstrut Prices? + Gen2 struts on a Gen1? + americanair

Hey guys.

Can anyone tell me about Ford Dealer prices for Gen1 Airstruts? Anything I should know when asking?

Also, I read in a few posts that you CAN use Gen2 struts on a Gen1 with NO modifications. Is this true? Is there anything else I should know?

Reason I ask ... I had a very bad experience with americanairsuspension.com, which is now causing me to lose a week of pay and miss my families annual christmas dinner this year. For more info.. see my review the REVIEWS forum (bottom of the forum list)

Pending my refund for non shipment, I'd like to price out the #2 guy for air struts. Can you guys recommend anyone?

I've got the gen 2 airstrurs on my green Mark. They bolt right in. They are cheaper and I've heard that the shock portion is better.
