Bassani mid lengths

I bought the Bassanis to see how they'll fit. Thye are the best looking headers I have seen so far. They have a real collector, as well as cast flanges and they are all SS construction. These things are beautiful. I believe they are available in 1 3/4 inch as well. I had Chris weld up my BBKs, but they are gone. I am selling them to put these in instead.

I was interested in New headers... But Bassani.. Must have blew a hole in your pocket.. How much they cost ya?..

$700 plus tax. $750 total, plus whatever it takes to make them fit. They will be worth every penny, I would bet dollars to doughnuts they make more power than the Macs or BBKs.

Eli,looks ike you will have to move #5 maybe #6 and definately #8.
And I'll take that bet about making more power.It'll never happen.Shorties and mid lengths are a compromise at best.I'm not trying to rain on your parade as I know your excited about these.But history has proven this fact over and over.
Now that I look again definately #6 and #8.
I'll tell you what JJs car has similar mods as yours,we can get the cars as close as possible and dyno them both.

Chris, the reason I thought these would make more power is due to the collector and flange design, not the tube length. I wish you could see these in person, they are a really well made header. Perhaps they wont make any more power, it's possible. But I also like to be original, and I like the idea of having the first and/or only Mark VIII with a specific type of header. We'll see how it goes once they're on.

No problem Eli.I too like to be original.AS I was the first mark to have long tubes.I just took exception to you comments about power production.

larry had them before you i belive as well as i though dennis. i could be wrong. oh and no i changed the designe of the headers i did not like how some of the tubes came out p.s. i did a set of BBK as well but dont worry i did not copy your tradmarked bbk lms headers i just did them on my own.
