Gutted mark 8

hello, i was wondering if anyone has gutted a mark 8 and what they got the weight down to. It would be pretty fun to attempt especially if we could get a mark 8 to the 3000 lb mark.

PonyFreak's white Mark is the only one that comes to mind. Do a search and it should show up.

3250 without the 10 point cage but with a/c, PS, and IRS.

WIth a solid axle and no a/c 3000 is doable.

Lexan, composite doors would get the car down to 2800

The cage weights 105lbs, but the car is 100X stronger and transfers weight like a mofo now. it brakes, acellerates and steers completely different now. Almost like a real car.
