Engine runs poorly at low RPM

I just bought a 93 Mark 8 with 25,000 original miles, no kidding 25K.
Fortunately the tranny hasn't exhibited any problems yet but there is an annoying intermittent low RPM stumble when accelerating and a rough idle. Out of drill I cleaned the MAF and replaced the air filter. With these few miles I don't expect the plugs or wires.
Any suggestions.
The only mod is a Superchip.

Even with the low miles the wires could be toast.

After pulling the chip this is where I would start as they are 10 years old.

My vote is for the wires. They're not cheap either, so shop around before purchasing.

Chip, wires, plugs, could also be a sticky IAC valve, pita to get to on 1st gens. Throwing any CE lights?

My car has a rough idle I've lived with forever, but not rought acceleration.

If I were you, I would change the plugs/Wires fuel/air filter & PCV valve…
Just because of the 10 years it had been sitting there.
