head work

Quick question: How beneficial would it be to put some worked heads on my stock motor? I wouldn't be causing any damage to my engine's internals by improving flow, right? I have a friend who says he can get me some port/polished 4V DOHC heads for under a grand. TIA

Buy them.If you can find a set of stock heads they are in the 200-300 price range.Then I charge 900 to port them,plus 250 for the valve job.
You will not hurt the motor at all.The car might get out of control with your new found power though.LOL
