I have this shift kit and it's AWESOME. with my converter Geno had it set I believe at the highest setting for the 1-2 shift and second highest on the 2-3. I highly recommend this kit. with 4.10's the car will go sideways on the 1-2 shift and chirp tires on the 2-3 shift.

I have not used Baumann but you get the same result described above with the shift kit modifications from the TCCoA article and all it will cost you is about $5 for 2 new separator plate gaskets and the normal stuff you need to buy for regular service.
