OUTSTANDING!!!

On another issue, I had *no idea* that snowflake wheels came in chrome! Those look gorgeous. Even better than my chrome 10-spokes.

Those looked like the standard snowflake wheels before you cleaned them... then I scroll down to the second picture and they're chrome!

They do look good in chrome, but they did not come from Lincoln like that.

its fake, this dude works for armorall and he used 2 different pics to try and pedal his product on us. either that or im just kidding.

ha, thats a good one! *I had tried everything on my wheels before and nothing has cleaned them like this. And on a separate note, they are real Ford rims. There is a ford stamp and a valid part number for that is listed as chrome wheels. They may not have come on my '97, but they must have come from ford somehow. My car was previously owned by a ford executive, maybe that has something to do with it...

I did not say they were not Ford built. I meant that they did not come from Ford chromed. I have seen the Lacy wheel offered on eBay. It was offered by a company that does aftermarket chroming.

So I would probably have a tough time trying to find replacement center caps since mine are chipping.....If you could find the name of that company maybe I could have them re-chrome them???

There's a place in PA (where the environmental laws are a little more industry-friendly) that does the absolute *best* triple plate chroming - if I can find it, I will post it.

OK here's a decent list of the some of the best "true" triple chrome platers (copper-nickel-chrome), based on the actual experiences of some of my cohorts at classicalpontiac.com. (These places actually do use copper as the base metal, *not* the poor brass substitute).

Works Well!

I dont have chromed rims but I thought I'd give it a shot and see how it stacks up with rims directly from the factory.

I cant clean my wheels for crap............ it rains once or twice a day down here!! GET ME THE HELL OUT OF HERE, 95F 100% humidity (Feels like 105F+) and rains 24/7 so I can never wash the car....... looks like a damn Chevy now.
