I made some scratchs in the glass of my car scraping off the ice from the recent storm. The ice scraper apparently had some sand embedded in it. There are just few 5-inch long scratches in the lower part of the windshield, but they are deep enough to catch a fingernail.
I have used in the past the glass buffing kit that Eastwood sells for removing glass haze. http://www.eastwoodco.com/itemdy00.asp?T1=40011&Dep_Key1= It is not enough to remove deep scratches. They now sell a kit for removing deep scratches. http://www.eastwoodco.com/itemdy00.asp?T1=40030&Dep_Key1= Anyone have experience with kits like this?
I need to do this on my T-Birds too.
