Is there anyway to restore the shine back to my dull chrome trim that runs around the bumpers and doors?

The trim is replaceable. I had my front bumper trim replaced this spring when the front bumper was painted.
Other folks have replaced it with an aftermarket stick-on trim of the proper dimension. Others have deleted it altogether and color matched it to the car's color.

The quick and easy way is to use rubbing compound on it. It won't look like new, but it will eliminate the yellow.

Im going to order that 5/8" trim that I have seen posted here from CA and do the job myself. Thanks for the replies.
