I did the engine with the kits actual engine block, heads, valve covers.
I used a 10-71 blower from an old MPC gasser Vette kit.

I used the Enderle fuel injection hat and blower belt/pullies from an old Funny Car kit.

I actually painted the car the correct 3 step for the candy apple red. I started with testors grey primer, I then wet sanded and rubbed that out. I then applied testors gold metallic, then Boyds transparent candy apple red for 2 coats. I too wet sanded and rubbed that out as well.

I scratch built the front straight axel and leaf spring set-up from the AMT 69 Charger.

What do you think?

RE: My Starliner Gasser.

I love 1960 Fords. They were one of the few cars that looked different from the rest when I was about five years old.

The gasser looks beautiful and mean.

RE: My Starliner Gasser.

Thanks.

Im doing a 57' T-Bird Gasser next.

Im just trying to decide who's 57' kit to build?

RE: My Starliner Gasser.

SWEET! Who's 55 kit?
Geno, that is an AMT 56 Ford Victoria kit #31545. It was built with a couple different kits. The engine is from a Nascar Ford, The chassis was back-halfed from an old Pro stock kit. The roll cage was scratch built from evergreen plastic rod. I built the car five-six years ago to this level of completion. It is still not finished.
