My wife has a 98 Chevy Malibu LS that has that new coolant. I want to flush out her radiator becuase it is mostly water in there. The radiator has to be filled through the over flow container. Am I wrong for starting the car with the release valve open, letting the old fluid pour out as I fill it with the new fluid? Then waiting for the new fluid to spill out of the overflow?
