LOL! They are Famous for that. The 86-93 Roller Blocks are very well known for this.

They overcome the 400 hp Marker and its a Gamble. I have only seen a few split at 400hp, the 500 hp is a Guaranteed split-o-rama.

That's a very common problem. Whenever we used a stock block and pushed the car into the 9s in the quarter it would always break like that. That's why we use aftermarket blocks, more expensive initially but loads cheaper later
