  • After market amp installation

I am trying to install an aftermarket amp on my 93. I have a Meta Amp By-pass kit to use as plugs for the amp wires to plug into the speakers. I need the wiring color code to wire the plugs right. Does any one have these?

I know a handful of people on here have the service manual for the '93, but I'm not one of them. Hopefully someone will dig one up and snap a picture for you.

someone should send in their book and have it digitized

but what are you trying to do?
the jbl amp bypass doesn't really work.
the amp does all the crossover and mixing for the 6 channel system.

First off we need to know what the OEM audio is/was, JBL or non-JBL.

You also need to know the factory speakers are not your common front/rear, right/left speaker wiring. The right and left sides are wired parallel to the front door and rear speakers, like below...

The above schematic is a 96 JBL system which may or may not resemble what you are looking for.
