Good afternoon all -

I just found out about this site today when my Husband and I attended Ford Fun Sunday in Vallejo.

Thank you Craig for your card directing me to the site.

Last year when we attended the show, I told my husband that I would like to show my '96 Mark VIII because I did not see one there. He stalled at the idea. Much to my surprise this year, there was a Lincoln club represented and room for one more Mark VIII! Yeah! :D

Where do I find a schedule of events/meetings?

Welcome Charlene.
I think you have my clone car if memory serves me right. Well we basically don't have a set schedule. We find events that we like to attend and then try to gather as many members from our area as we can to attend :)! These events will be announced in the events forum.

Hi Charlene!(YTRABIT-white rabbit) It was great to see so many folks such as yourself, who were interested in our Mark VIII car club. Although only 7 of our club members were able to attend, we still seemed to draw some attention.

Feel free to email me directly for any/all upcoming events. As of right now, we dont have any plans for the next group gathering, but are always open to suggestions.

Tell us about yourself, your car, and where you are from. I also have a friend who owns a Mark VIII, and his own repair shop in Santa Rosa, so if there is ever any "Mark VIII-specific" repairs you need, and are close to us, let me know.

It was great to meet yet another Bay Area Mark VIII owner. You just reminded me to print up some more business/club cards. You got my last one!!!

The official "chapter" no longer exists, but the car club does. Incase anyone here was wondering about this event:

You bet! I have been looking forward to it since Sept 13, last year.

It is so wonderful to have such a huge gathering, so close to home, John.

I suggest we do the same thing this year... head out early, get a nice alcove-parking area, and hang out.

My paint isnt looking as good as it used to be, so I'll be spending more time getting the 97 ready for this years event.

Keep us posted folks...John, should we start a new thread?

Charlene...how about this year?

I wont even bother inviting Todd... he'll pay in advance, get us all excited to see him at an event, then not show up at the last minute... heh heh
