Golden Gate Grand Prix is a go!

The 2007 Golden Gate Grand Prix in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park is a go, and the date has been set for June 16-17.
According to the event’s Web site www.goldengategrandprix.com, pre-1960s era sports cars will compete in five groups on the 1.9-mile course that will start and finish on a straightaway along Highway 1. Spectator admission to the race will be free, and any proceeds from concessions, entry fees and sponsorship will be donated to San Francisco-based charities. For the most up-to-date information, be sure to get on the organizer’s mailing list.
