Your username and some ideas

I wanted to post a message regarding some examples of what not to use as a username. One I believe is very obvious is your name, in whole, of course, the other is anything that may be offensive or vulgar in nature, whether you think so or not. And the most important one I think is having your email as your username. There are many ad ware spiders and spammers that troll these boards as well as all forums to get such information. This is valuable information for alot of these companies and to use your email as a username, you have made their lives that much easier. I recommend you don't and if you have and would like to change it then let us know and we can help get it fixed. We wouldn't want your time here to be used against you in anyway. Thank you for being a part of this community and enjoy your time.

:D fah-q. I wonder if the DMV would catch that one..

I've found that on the Internet, I'm actually more anonymous as "mike martin" than I am as "tixer"

Unique nicknames have their downsides, too...

Just something I made up back in the BBS days in an effort to find something original. (the "x" makes it cool!)

I used to be "handiman," but there were always a few others out there.

I guess I've never bothered finding something new..

Oh I see, so I it doesn't really mean anything then. LoL.

So Mike, you weren't "Mike P" in 2008, how did you gO back in time and make this thread?
