Anti Lock Brake Control Module

Couple of questions;
Check Traction Control message appears on screen.
Pull code B1342 & B1676 with Snap-On unit.
B1342= Replace anti-lock brake control module
B1676= Low voltage to module??? need to verify.

Should I go to a Lincoln Dealer to verify, with a "break out box"
or just replace the module?

Can a module from a Gen 1 be used?

I would get the service and EVTM manuals (or CD) and see if that can help you trouble shoot it. I can't say if you can use a gen 1 module, my guess would be if they are different part numbers they may not be compatible. I think that part is expensive.
