  • Replaced Air Compressor but still nothing

Hey guys. Hope somebody can help me out. I got the dreaded Check Air Suspension message on my 97 Mark VIII LSC and being pretty handy I decided to run a test with my Rotunda Superstar tester (I bought it anticipating this may eventually happen). I got a code 75 for the relay and decided to swap the compressor and relay just to be safe. Wasn't difficult and everything went as planned but after i flipped the suspension in the trunk, nothing

Checked the fuse and its fine. The bags are in good shape and have held air for weeks. The car only has 49k miles so i'm not ready to abandon the air system yet. Any other suggestions?

Likely the connector and wire connecting to the compressor relay. Can buy a new connector from autozone, and replace as much wire as the new connector comes with.

Ok problem solved. It was the relay. The new one I ordered from RockAuto was bad. I was able to figure it out by jumping the compressor and confirming it would cut on. Went to Autozone and bought another relay just to try and it worked. Everything else seems to be fine.

Glad to hear you're back up and running! Faulty new parts are always a bummer. It's a good thing you distrusted it enough to try one more.
