  • timing chain noise

Well I started my Mark for the first time in five months and it sounds like I have a bad timing chain tensioner.I was wondering if I should do the entire timing chain kit or just the tensioners,I was also wondering is the camshaft holding tool needed and is there a write up here on the replacement

I've seen a few write-ups on these, and it seems that more often than not, it's just the tensioners that need to be replaced. I bet you could start there, pretty safely.. Obviously, you may find more once you get inside....

The camshaft holding tool is not necessary if you only replace the tensioners.
