Bud - I took the picture on a Sunday afternoon in mid-October 2009, which explains why no one was around but me!

To replace my 1997 Thunderbird I'm thinking of a 2000 to 2002 Lincoln Continental. Anyone have any thoughts about that? Is there a 2002 Continental "Limited" since it was the last year? Oh yeah, gotta be maroon or that silver-blue!

Only prob with the Conti is that it is front wheel drive......at least that's what would kill it for me....

Hi Bud - I'm not crazy about the FWD either, but it is a sharp looking car. It does have a V8 though rated at 275 hp.

I agree about good lookin' car..... just wish they were rear drives.... I hate the feel of front drives.

Is there a 2002 Continental "Limited" since it was the last year?

I know they had a "CE" model. One of our members that regularly attends Carlisle has one.
