  • Random High Revs

We have an 09 Lincoln Navigator that likes to occasionally rev up when slowing down to make a turn or park. For example, it will occasionally rev up to about 1500 RPMs when making a slow turn or pulling into a parking space. It almost feels like it's just late downshifting into 1st.

Car has 96k on it, transmission fluid change was done about 80k. Any ideas what might be causing this odd behavior?

if an 09 is drive-by-wire like i believe it to be, it does not have an IAC.
