Evening all! Yesterday while i got my oil changed, the garage did a few little checks......and my brake lights did not light up, so they replaced them.....and still a no-go. I hate electrical problems, so before i start the search (and no it aint a fuse.....looked) i was wondering if there is a chronic problem with this circuit? looking forward to a reply. Chris

Two possibilities...

1. Bad BOO(Brake On/Off) switch or harness at brake pedal.
2. Broken ground wire at trunk harness near drivers side trunk hinge.

Time to give back a little info guys! ok, i have break lights again! i changed the boo switch, rechecked bulbs and fuses. nothing. I found myself in a situation where i needed my hazard flashers....they where going too fast and only one bulb was going....i swapped out my flasher relay....one bulb but much slower.......the expensive hit.....i swapped out my multifunction switch and tada.....flashers and brake lights. so if anyone finds themselves in this situation
1.no brake lights
2.flashers going nuts
could be the multifunction switch. 95 bux canadian.......4 screws and 10 minutes will fix your problems. Chris
