Edit: I now see you did. I bought those awhile back and had a ballast fail in a very short time after install. I purchased the cheeper set(around $90) just for the ballast and went for 8000k bulbs. If I had to order again I would get 6000k bulbs though. The second Expnsive ballast is now acting up, But i still have a spare.

Yup you can buy just the bulbs/ballasts for $90 shipped. They charge for the adapter so that it fits inside the housing.

8000k is way to blue. 6500k is already borderline too blue.

Here is 6500k on my vette

I know nothing about the wiring set up so there is no way I would be able to modify anything. I want something I can plug and play "for lack of a better word." Tell me more about these $90 parts :) and how hard it would be to get them in the Mark. With bulbs right?

Ask Bud about this guy, but I HIGHLY SUGGEST NOT buying from him. It took Bud 3 weeks to get his bulbs AND it took me driving to the guys house to pay for them!!!!

Good to know so who would be the guy to buy a conversion kit from? And how are they to put in? I really need help with this, I don't want to buy $200 parts every time this happens.

These have worked very well for me. Instuctions come with it and the seller is very helpful.
You need 9006 bulbs and pick your color. I would like 6000k.

You will need to do some simple wireing, so as I said before if you don't know anything about wireing you might want to get help.

Why is everyone getting the 6K bulbs?

I would think the 4.3 to 5K ones would be the best, brightest and most white?

:D -J

I looked up the bulb size that I need and it said 9500. I don't know if I've heard of this size. Is 9006 really the size I need?

I got the 6k bulbs and I really like them. Very WHITE!! Maybe a TOUCH of blue if you are looking at them from in front of the car, but as the driver, I prefer these. Very blue on startup, but that goes away in just a few seconds...

Okay so I got my bulbs in and the guy sent me 9005's. So this is going to be fun. Is there anyway to make these fit. Btw or exactly did you do it? The OEM bulb is screwed into the housing and the bulb they sent does not require any screws. The new bulb is one of those push-and-turn type. So, I guess I'm asking can you be a little more specific on the procedure.
