MB 177's on a Base Mark 8 (DU Warning - I think)

RE: MB 177's on a Base Mark 8 (DU Warning - I think)

Shoot, sorry about all the white space, I don't know what I did wrong when I resized the pics. I suck at this and the kid's not up yet.

I like the rims. Now when you get here people will be able to tell our cars apart. How does that dentless thing work?
It'not my style to be critical, but I'm not sure I like scrolling all the way to the right to see your pics though. My mouse only goes so far. HAHA.

Thanks to Steve for this picture from the Midwest Summer meet.

Scott, the paintless dent removal worked great for me.
The repairman uses various tools to get behind the metal
like a door panel) and smooths out the ding. I was very
pleased with the guy who worked on my car, he got everything out.
But now of course, I have some more dings and have to go
back. I think they usually charge between $20 -$50 per ding,
but they tend to give a better deal if its all in the same panel.
Give them a call they're everywhere.

Why thank you all! Yes, Scott, I was worried that we might accidentally leave S.A. with your car instead of mine, so I made sure mine would stick out. ;-)

The PDR seems to work great. I have some brochures, I don't know how it works exactly, but I am very pleased with the work done to my car and the fact that I don't have to leave my car at a shop for days or weeks.

I do like the Dunlops. This is my second set, actually. I was going to go with Michelins this time, but they were so much more expensive, and on tirerack they weren't rated all that much higher, that it didn't seem worth the extra money to me. I'm extremely happy with how they handle on wet pavement, and the snow handling wasn't too bad, all things considered. Due to living in the Chicago area, those things are important to me.

RE: MB 177's on a Base Mark 8 (DU Warning - I think)

are those the 60 series?

Going with a 50 or a 45 would make them look much bigger.

But the Ride will some what suffer.

anyhow, they look real good.

Me? I have the 60's. Never had a desire to change the tire size.

Looks like you know how to give a great rim job, baby!
