SOUTH BEND — Police are searching for a black Lincoln Mark VIII with a chrome grill last seen northbound out of the alley behind Low Bob’s Discount Tobacco store at 3623 Mishawaka Ave.
Police were told a man matching the description of an armed robber, who minutes before held up the tobacco store, got into the vehicle.
The robbery was reported at 2:25 p.m. Tuesday. Description of the suspect is a short, white male with sandy-colored hair and a goatee who is wearing a gray T-shirt.
