Default FS: 1985 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz

A friend of mine is trying to sell an oddball Caddy convertible.

I figured I'd do them a favor post it here, also. I haven't seen the car in person, but I'd expect it to require some reconditioning to be anything show-worthy. If anyone is interested, I can track down a number for the current owner.

    1985 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz - 121k miles

Looking for new home for my father-in law's rare and collectible Cadillac two-door soft top convertible, admired by many as the last run of the classic Cadillac cruiser. Limited number made into convertibles and no rust or body damage. Garaged stored and never driven in winter. Perfect candidate for full interior restoration or to drive as-is. Mechanically inspected by 3rd party mechanic shop in October, resulting in new rear air shocks, new front-end alignment, new tailpipe, and new power steering pump. Full inspection report available to serious in-person inquiries. HT4100 Engine was rebuilt at 80,000 miles.

My mother wrecked at least 2 of those body style Eldorados, also a Buick Riviera, and one (possibly two) Oldsmobile Toronados.

Needless to say we had a pile of those early 80's GM coupes

    - I sent one of the Eldorados (I think an 84) into a large ditch one night when I was driving around (otherwise known as 'on') a golf coruse.

Now's your mother's chance to do in one more, and make all the others just a bit more valuable!

I had the Riviera of that era cars, a hardtop. It was a great car.

Front wheel drive north south engine.
It was great in winter, for a front wheel drive.

When I had to junk it, I bought my first Mark VIII.
