So I was testing my egr system according to this procedure:
http://easyautodiagnostics.com/ford/4.6L-5.4L/how-to-test-the-egr-system-5
And everything checked out until I got to the part where I hook a vaccum gauge to the vac line going to the egr and take it for a test drive.
It says at operating temp the gauge should read around 5in. Hg when I accelerate and drop to 0 when I let off. My mark does this under very light acceleration, normal acceleration, and kinda heavy acceleration, but when I really punch it I get no reading.
Is this normal? Anybody have input?
