Overheating? Check your radiator!

So I decided to take a look at my leading theory on my car overheating in traffic on hot days, and or mountain roads.

This might have something to do with it:

No, I didn't suck in Leo's dog.. That's (presumably) 234,000 miles worth of "stuff" in there. I know I have never looked in there, so it's at least 134,000 miles worth...

Removing the cooling fan, battery, and the upper two radiator mounts, I was able to tip the top of the radiator toward the engine, secure it with a couple blocks of wood, and very carefully get in there with a shop-vac and brush attachment.

I should have taken an "after" photo, but I suspect that the problem has been resolved.. :)
