    Default New Hood

With the latest build of the Blue Flame requiring a hole in the hood, the search for a fix found this...

It is actually intended as a cowl hood for a Marauder but it seemed to fit pretty close.

I went this past weekend and picked it up from the fiberglass shop and installed it on the car.

I'm going to leave it as it is for now. But I do plan to have it blended in and painted in the off season.

I'm thinking of installing some type of hood pins, so now would be the perfect time.

    Either the AeroCatch...

    or the Quick-Latch...

    What do you think?

Pins are ugly, go for the cleaner, more aerodynamic ones.

That is big enough to put same gauges in, they will be like a HUD.

Quick-latch looks prettier, but it also looks like it might be fairly easy to not get it latched correctly?

I'm having a tough time envisioning the "clasp" mechanism on the AeroCatch, however.

I love it, back would be a good spot for a gauge or two?
