Heater Blower Motor quit

When I drove to work yesterday it was 10 degrees, and of course that's when the blower motor quit working. I thought it might be the wire to the blower motor as I've seen this before. I pulled over, wiggled the wire and it started working again.

I stopped at a friends heated garage after work, removed the wire and sure enough, that's what was wrong. I cleaned it up a bit for the drive home, I've got a good spare replacement wire here.

I got a bonus fix too. This car always had a small vacuum leak in the HVAC control system, which only caused a problem occasionally, when accelerating hard, the HVAC air was diverted to the defrost vents. I figured I'd check it out the next time I had the dash loose for a blend door fix or something like that.

I saw the offending vacuum hose hanging down and was able to plug it back in.

I wish every repair was this easy.:)

Here's a couple photos, the burned wire connector and the vacuum hose.
