Vari-Time Adjuster

While I'm at it, the Jeg's catalog also shows a Vari-Time Adjuster for advancing / retarding ignition timing. Made by BBK, jeg's part number 129-1640. Mounts on the front of the crank.

1) Has anyone played with one of these, and is it worth the $171.99?

2) Will it fit the DOHC? (Jeg's doesn't specify other than "Mustang 4.6")

At any rate, it looks like fun, and with a claimed < 30 minute install time (and fits underdrive pulleys), this could be a valuable tuning tool. Or at least that's what I'm trying to find out :7

RE: Vari-Time Adjuster

it is just a copy of the Steeda timing adjuster or roush racing timing adjuster. UPR also has a copy out now. it should work fine it is just a copy of the one i have used for a long time and still sell.
