Well the red whore got another upgrade. I did the Jerry mod to the tranny, and am installing a Walboro 255l/hr fuel pump. And i got an NOS kit all hooked up to the car... here are some pics

This is inside the passenger side fender well. This is where the silinoids will be located at. I chose this place so they are hidden and out of sight.

Intake tube. Drilled and tapped this hole. This is where the fogger will be located.

You can see how the fogger is positioned. It is loctited into place.

These are pics of the fogger and the feed line for the N2O. You will nmtocied that i had a shinny braided SS line. Well that would be a dead giveaway for people looking for my power adder. So I put electrical tape all over it, and taped some dummy wires to it and put some loom over it. noone will ever notice it now...

Can you spot the power N2O line???

Can you see any hint of the fogger here??

ok enough hide and go seek. This is that N20 feed line ran in to the fender well.

Time to run the SS line back to the bottle..

I ran it along the fuel lines on the passenger side of the car

Ok time to hook up wires. Always make a good ground for your added electronics.

Thankffully our trunks are nice and shallow... You can hide a lot of stuff in there and noone will ever notice..

The rest that is hooked up is jsut some relays and such... This is pretty much the whole hook up.. I used a NOS 5115 kit. It was 460$ from Jegs. I am going to shoot a 75 shot to help get this pig out of the hole on the track. Coupled with the headers I am expecting extraordinary times.

RE: Holy Nitrous Batman: A how too post

I might wanna go with nos soon. my engine has 120k miles on it. with a 75 shot or a 100 shot how much abuse/strain will that put on the engine? I wouldn't be doing it everyday. But lets say a few times a month, or when I go to the track?

RE: Holy Nitrous Batman: A how too post

NAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWSSSSSSSSSS!!

Can't wait to see some times :)

RE: Holy Nitrous Batman: A how too post

Absolutely perfect! That is exactly what I want to do. Now relocate the transmission control switch and use the stock switch for N2O ignition!

I think a speaker box would do a good job of hiding the bottle as well.

Great job Joe.

RE: Holy Nitrous Batman: A how too post

Damn, that is a nice setup. They won't even know what hit them.

RE: Holy Nitrous Batman: A how too post

Kale the speaker box is perfect for hiding the bottle.I was doing that four years ago.No one ever found the system on my car.

And Joe We always bust on Dan for his grammar. Its your turn. The word is SOLENOIDS.Your killing me.You even type like a hick.

Have fun and remember to gap your plugs to like 35ish.Otherwise you will blow the spark out.

RE: Holy Nitrous Batman: A how too post

Pony - nice work.

1.) How did you hook up the switch?

2.) What's the blue thing above the solenoids and what's the black hose connection for? (I'm a NO2 Newbie)

One comment however - Simple Green... or mount off road tires on it and complete the look.

RE: Holy Nitrous Batman: A how too post

anyone have any answers to my questions above?

You should be fine as far as mileage goes. I have put NOS kits on Marks with over 100k a few times.

As long as your fuel delivery is above par (Reccomended 255 pump/new filter/adjustable fpr just to be safe) then you should be good.

RE: Holy Nitrous Batman: A how too post

To be honest with everyone I am more worried about my tranny than engine. I think the engine could take a 150 every now and again. But I think I will stick with a 75 shot due to the tranny. My tranny has never shuddered, or given me any problems, I am just reluctant since it has so many miles on it. I did the jerry mod ot hte tranny, and am putting a tranny cooler on it this weekend. Rest of the exhasut goes on thursday morning. I might get the bottle filled and go to the track this weekend, but msot likely I will wait and got the weekend after that.

The switch is located in front of the gas pedal under the dash. the arming switch is in the console.

RE: Holy Nitrous Batman: A how too post

Hi Joe, great setup! Very stealth. Are you using the Hobbs saftey switch?

Much cleaner install than the one on my rental car.

-Joel.
