Carlisle eliminates compact shows

RE: Carlisle eliminates compact shows

Just takes a few morons to spoil every one fun.

RE: Carlisle eliminates compact shows

What a shame. The people who put on the Carlisle Production events are terrific folks and bend over backwards to ensure the participations have a great time. I really hate to say it, but the immaturity of a few hundred there have caused thousands to lose out on this fantastic opportunity to meet, compete, showoff and develop friendships in their chosen hobby.

Wow, 200 to 300 arrests and citations.

I don't know what it's like nowadays, but I went to the Indy 500 in 1985 or 1986 (whichever year it got rained out) with some friends and we stayed in the infield the whole weekend. The stuff I saw was insane. I saw two young (17-ish) girls get their tops ripped off and groped by a gang of about thirty drunken motherf_ckers (sorry, it's the only way I can describe them). Probably another hundred were cheering them on. A bunch of us tried to force our way in there and break it up, but I got knocked to the ground and called a fag. Thankfully, about six cops showed up within a minute or so (tipped off by the girls' screams), but the damage was done as far as those two girls were concerned. I gave a statement, but never heard back about it. The whole thing lasted two minutes tops. It made me physically ill afterwards.

The thing is, the whole thing started out with the traditional "Show us your ***s!", and the girls obliged, thinking it was fun, and it escalated from there. In no way does that justify what happened, but it just goes to show that alcohol mixed with a bunch of horny assholes is a bad formula.

Man, I haven't thought about that in years, but I'm shaking just thinking about it again.

Sorry, I didn't mean to go off on some sick story. I don't know what happened at Carlisle, but it must have been pretty serious judging by their comments.

RE: Carlisle eliminates compact shows

Sounds like if they bagged a couple hundred people, they probably had problems with closer to a thousand...

Makes me wonder what this year will be like... I was amazed last year that with the exception of police officers directing traffic, you really didn't see many police around at all. I hope this doesn't in anyway curtail my "sun bathing" plans...

Joe, the Club wanted me be sure to ask to wear a "bathing" suit this year instead of a "birthday" suit while sun bathing.

RE: Carlisle eliminates compact shows

Idiots! Sounds strangely familiar to some other groups of people on the net?

Theres alot of IDIOTS out there for sure!

RE: Carlisle eliminates compact shows

Nice! No big loss there. Sounds like the people at Carlisle events are trying to send a very clear message. They will not hesitate to lose money over keeping the event safe, clean, and civil. Although I did notice the little suggestion that the event would possibly be organized in some limited fashion in the future.

Don't take advantage of what we have.

Ehh hem...hmmm Joe in a bathing suit? *cough* *cough* you mean the walking string bean with four tooth picks stuck in it? =0

Do they make 19 inch waist pants? =0

I warned you, if you let go of the weights, there is no way in hell I’ll be able to hold them up… you know, I’d hate to see you involved in some sort of horrible freak gym accident…

LMFAO at treadmill smiley.

Ever seen a dressed up BadSax on a treadmill? I have.

Normal treadmill jog setting- 6.0.
BadSax sets the thing at 0.2.

Now that's fitness!
