Blown Marauder

I have good news and bad news. Well here it is, all done. Actualy I am just kidding, about the bad news, it only made 363 RWHP but it did it on a E Trim with five pounds boost, so bare with me so I can explain. I did not know where to post this, so if its in the wrong place let me know.

What I have done here is make a kit that basically bolts in place, I believe I only had to put 4 riv nuts in two places for the Maf, and PS pump reservoir any one else would have use self taping screws, this kit has a huge heat exchanger that bolts to existing factory screws, it has a large capacity coolant reservoir and high volume pump, I just got back from Atlanta after tuning it yesterday, on FIVE POUNDS boost the car made 363 RWHP and 348 foot pounds of torque with a 12.0 straight A/F. http://web.iwebcenters.com/reinhartautomotive/images/03marauder.jpg

So it will have two versions of this kit, one with the E Trim blower with 3.61 stock pulley 363 RWHP or a S Trim with a 3.48, Nine to Ten pounds boost, the S trim will make 450 RWHP and still be totally safe.

Today it was 93 degrees out the intake air temp never got above 103 degrees you cannot get much better than this, at 65/70 mph the car averaged 21.6 MPG with 4:30 gears, I a very happy with my results, I will post the other dyno sheets later this week,

Here is picture of the Gauges the green LED comes on when the after cooler pump is running, also I took the ambient air temperatures sensor that's normally in front of the grill, and put that in the pipe going to the Throttle body, so you can actually see the inlet air temp entering the motor, from the A/C controll panel, as you see it it says 98 degrees. I will post more later this week, I am waiting on the S Trim.

WOW

is there really anything else to say???

(Note to self, one warantee is up, call Dennis for a supercharger kit....)

RE: Blown Marauder

Looks good Dennis!

One thing I couldn't help but notice was the temp controls. Ten years later and Ford is still using pretty much the same design. That is sad because if I bought a new car, I would want it to be NEW, not remolded plastic from the early 90s. Take the S/C 4.6 from the Cobra and throw it in a luxury car Ford, I dare you!!!

Still a badass car with help from Dennis.

With regards to the "old" EATC, I say if it ain't broke don't fix it. I'd rather that development money be spent on other things. JMO.

And I also dare Ford to put that Cobra engine into a luxury car. I'll even up it to a double-dare :) ;)
